 The Buck is proud to serve cask conditioned ales that have acheived the Cask Marque standard. Black Sheep other local ales are available in the Bar at the Buck. The Buck Hotel is a member of the Yorkshire Tourist Board. We use the Sherpa Van project for luggage transport around the Dales.

The Buck Hotel is very popular for walkers and caters for separate baggage arrivals. All our rooms are en suite, so the ideal place to freshen up and relax. Many walkers enjoy a pint of the very best real ale at the end of their journey and a meal in our restaurant. We can also provide you with a packed lunch the next morning.
On your bike? We have secure overnight storage facilities for your bike. Want to hire a bike? This can easily be arranged to suit your requirements,
Dogs are welcome at the Buck Hotel. Dogs are welcome at the Buck Hotel. If staying with you overnight in your room there is a small supplement. Dogs are also welcome in the bar. Of course we expect well-behaved dogs as we have other guests to consider.
FREE hi-speed WiFi available to our residents. The Buck has Wi-Fi to the latest high speed broadcast and encryption standards. When you check in, please ask the staff for the password key to use on your laptop. There is no charge to patrons for W-Fi.
The Buck Hotel IS THE ONLY hotel in Reeth where residents can enjoy Vodaphone Mobile Phone reception. Regular visitors to Swaledale will know that Orange is the only mobile service that operates. It may also be possible to get a signal from ‘3’ depending on your mobile handset. However, using special equipment, Vodafone users can get a good signal inside the Buck Hotel. Please advise us of your mobile number when making your reservation and we will register your phone on the internal system. There is no charge for this service other than you normal call costs from Vodafone. Remember to register your Vodafone number with us before you arrive.

Please also note that whilst this service is usually always operational, it cannot be guaranteed.
